There are more and more circuits on a chip. Electricity runs through micron thin connections. An invisible spark can destroy or damage a chip after a few months. Irritation, brand loss and warranty costs are the result. Controlled discharge of static electricity is the only solution.
What do we mean by electrostatic discharge
Every person carries a static charge. On dry soles in dry weather, it could be 40,000 volts. Enough for sparks, palpable shocks and explosion in gas mixtures. Worse: the unmarkable discharge of less than 10% of it can permanently damage electronic components. Micron thin compounds in chips burn up completely, or worse, partly. In the latter case, a watch, laptop or board computer breaks down shortly after commissioning. This entails a lot of costs and annoyance. By adding a carbon powder compound during production we are able to provide packaging that prevents this misery.
ESD safe plastic bins give static electricity no chance!
All bins, trunks as well as some pallets from our range are basically available in ESD safe, often in stock. Electricity is gradually discharged, so that their content never gets damaging amperages. Available from several hundred pieces, with additives that protect the content from static electricity.
