The old Monastery in Hasselt has recently been beautifully restored and repurposed into a modern residential care center with a Grand Café and 58 service areas. This location has chosen for complete underground waste collection systems from Engels because of their look and space-savings.
Our underground container Apyra is unique in design and modular construction, which gives enormous flexibility. The underground containers are at the front of the residential care center and are still very discreet from sight. The color is adapted to the fence of the terraces and handrails, so that the containers blend in with the building. The containers are provided with access control in combination with our Container Management System (CMS). The CMS records and monitors the degree of filling, automatic volunteering and the frequency with which residents dump waste.
In addition to the waste flows of the residents, Engels has also considered internal logistics: WZC Clarenhof has its own washing machines and a catering department for residents to use. Our assortment provides in catering bins for serving and collecting plates, cups and crockery. And for changing the laundry we deliver large mobile bins.
