Standardized width for euro standard racks
The different widths correspond with shelves of 950 mm (series VKB) or 1000 mm (series MB). Due to the rectangular, sleek shape, stackable shelf bins stand exactly against each other and there is no loss of space.
If you use shelving units that are open underneath, it can be useful to provide the shelving bins with "pull-out protections". These ensure that the shelf bin remains suspended in the rack in an inclined position, as long as the shelf height is not too large.
