Clinical waste containers from Engels have a hinged lid that is fixed to the container as standard. This has several practical advantages:
- no annoyance due to lost lids
- no risk of contamination from lids lying around
- personnel can slip and/or trip over loose lids
- quick and easy to open and close
The containers close hermetically by means of sealant in the lid after which it can be pressed shut with only 11 gentle pressure points. The clinical waste containers is absolutely watertight after pressing the lid shut. The advantage is that no great force is required to close the barrel permanently.
In addition, the clinical waste container has integrated handles for safe transport when the containers are stored full. They have solid handles, so that the container can also be easily moved with one hand and come with a unique barcode as standard.
The clinical waste containers are UN approved up to a capacity of 25 kilos, available in 30/50/60 liter sizes and EN / ISO 23907 certified. Combine the containers with our affordable stainless steel pedal lid opener for an optimal working environment.
Hinged lid with temporary closure
Optionally, we also supply the clinical waste containers with an extra round insertion opening. This extra opening has a revolving and hinged lid that can be (also temporarily) sealable. See video.
