Engels developed, together with Weight Watchers, special boxes and cases, for easy transport of course materials to the weekly workshops.
Weight Watchers is an American company, founded in 1963, with the main objective of achieving a healthy lifestyle (weight loss) for people with overweight and/or weight management problems.
Distinctive from almost all other diet programs is that Weight Watchers takes place in groups. The participants meet every week to support each other and exchange their experiences. Above all, people learn how to consciously deal with food and, at the same time, continue to eat healthily. In the scientifically substantiated program, the aim is: to eat with pleasure, to enjoy exercise, and to dare think differently to achieve your goal. These weekly meetings are led by so-called coaches (instructors/leaders).
In the Netherlands, about 130 Weight Watchers coaches provide every week multiple workshops. A lot of materials are needed to organize these workshops. Think of a weight scale, brochures, and materials for recording the development of the participants. During the weekly meetings, students can also purchase Weight Watchers products, such as weight loss aids, recipe books, and healthy snacks.
In order to be able to take all these materials to the weekly workshops, Weight Watchers invested in 150 sets of boxes, one set for each coach.
The set consists of:
- 3 E-line* Normboxes - ENC-6417-0,
- 1 E-line* Normbox - ENC-4322-0,
- 1 E-line* Euro norm case - ENS-6412-1L (with foam interior for a weight scale).
* Made from recycled material.
The boxes and cases are:
- Equipped with snap closures,
- mutually stackable (euro format),
- equipped with a custom-made foam interior (also possible with plucked foam),
- provided with a printed Weight Watchers logo (hot stamping technique).
The custom-made foam interior ensures that the scale can be transported shock-free.
Weight Watchers has asked Engels to provide each coach with a set. For this, Engels packed the 150 sets individually and sent them via DPD as an “NPC package” (Normal Parcel Consumer) to all the private addresses of the individual coaches.
